Musician Line-Up

A to Z is an indie-folk and alt-rock duo formed by singer-songwriters Audrey Mason and Zinnia Dungjen. Based in the Traverse City/Leelanau County area, the multi-instrumentalist pair—who met while studying at the Interlochen Arts Academy—has become a staple of the Northern Michigan live music scene. Known for their imagery-driven songwriting and engaging banter, they have opened for prominent artists including Five for Fighting and The Accidentals.

i.am.james. is the indie-folk project of Leelanau County-born singer-songwriter Sierra Cassidy. Blending contemporary folk, indie rock, and alternative pop, the music is known for captivating melodies and lush, introspective lyrics recorded deep in Northern Michigan. You can explore her tour dates and stream her latest releases on the iamjames Music Official Site or her iamjames Bandcamp Page, or catch her performing live at regional venues like The Alluvion.

Straight out of Traverse City, The Ampersands are a high-energy, 3-piece powerhouse trio dedicated to defining the Northern Michigan nightlife scene. Featuring Jesse Jefferson on guitar and vocals, Dan Rinckey on drums, and Fernwood’s own James Hawley on bass. The band keeps dance floors packed by delivering upbeat performances of popular top hits for weddings, private parties, and local venues like Kilkenny’s Irish Pub and Union Street Station.
